• We will not share or sell any of your personal information.
• We may contact you when necessary via eMail or telephone. For instance, we may need to contact you if an eMail address is rejected or you have submitted an incomplete enrollment application or to answer a question or if there are important changes to Medicare information or if we are starting an enrollment period such as the Annual Election Period or Open Enrollment Period.
• We are not pharmacists or physicians - please be sure to seek professional medical advice before making any health or healthcare decisions.
• If you enroll in a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan through our website, you will not be charged any additional fees. Medicare Part D plans cost the same no matter where you enroll. However, if you enroll through our site, we will act as your Agent throughout the Part D plan year and be available should you have specific questions or needs.
• We were also asked by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to add the following information to all communications - The person that is discussing plan options with you is either employed by or contracted with: Aetna (Aetna Medicare), Cigna (Cigna Medicare Rx), Coventry (AdvantraRx), Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, United Healthcare (AARP and PacifiCare), Universal American (American Progressive Life and Health Insurance, PrescribaRx, Prescription Pathway and Community Care Rx CCRx) and WellCare. The person may be compensated based on your enrollment in a plan.
• If you are a member of a Medicare Advantage Plan (like an HMO or PPO), you may already have a prescription drug benefit from your Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare Health plan. By joining a stand-alone Medicare Part D prescription drug plan (PDP), your membership in your Medicare Advantage Plan may end. Losing Medicare Advantage benefits will affect both your doctor and hospital coverage as well as your prescription drug benefits. Read the information from your Medicare Advantage Plan and contact your Medicare Advantage Plan.
• If you currently receive health coverage from an employer or union, joining WellCare could affect your employer or union health benefits. If you have health coverage from an employer or union, joining a stand-alone Medicare Part D prescription drug plan (PDP) may change how your current coverage works - that is, you may lose your health coverage. Read the communications your employer or union sends you and contact your benefits manager or administrator.
