Are there additional heath insurance benefits available? Maternity benefits are available in most states for an additional charge. Additional benefits such as psychiatric, substance abuse/mental illness, alcohol, and rehabilitation vary by state.

Are prescription drugs covered? Prescribed drugs are covered if you are hospitalized as an inpatient. Since outpatient drugs are provided through most university health centers, they are not a covered benefit with Student Select. This helps keep the plan affordable.
