Why would I purchase AD&D insurance as opposed to normal Life Insurance?

There are a few reasons to augment your coverage with an AD&D policy.  First, there is no medical examination.  Second, it has the dismemberment coverage.  This means that you receive a portion of the benefit based on the loss of vital senses and/or limbs.  Example:  loss or loss of use of one limb (due to an accident) pays 1/2 the maximum benefit.
